Achieving the main task, the Pharmaceutical Evaluation Section with groups for coordination in domain of medicines, national pharmaceutical industry and the good manufacturing practice (GMP) implementation executes the following basic functions: </li> <ol> <li> Expertise for compliance with rules of good manufacturing practice. </li> <li> Releasing of Manufacturing authorisations for medicinal products manufactured by local producers. </li> <li> Expertise of technological fluxes and conditions of medicinal and parapharmaceutical products manufacturing in the pharmaceutical industry. </li> <li> Expertise of draft technological documentation and operational procedures for the medicines manufacturing. </li> <li> Expertise of draft analytic-normative documents (temporary Pharmacopoeia monographs, Pharmacopoeia monographs, Specifications of pharmaceutical products quality, national and branch-wise standards), quality and conformity evaluation of analytical methods and experimental batches of pharmaceutical products.</li> <li> Studies for stability of substances and medicinal forms. </li> <li> Elaboration and improvement of analytical methods and criteria for the medicinal preparations standardisation.</li> <li> Elaboration of necessary guides for GMP implementation and control for the observance of these rules by medicines manufacturing units. </li> <li> Development of normative documents for medicines fabrication in Moldova.</li> <li> Participation in drafting of legislation and regulations, orders of the Ministry of Health, methodical guides to ensure the quality and quality control of medicinal products manufactured in Republic of Moldova.</li> <li> Organisation of seminars and scientific-practical conferences with employees of medicines producing enterprises and their advisory aid.</li> <li> Participation in the improvement of specialists engaged in the domain of medicines fabrication. </li> <li> Study of the pharmaceutical properties of biologically active substances and compounds.</li> <li> Determination of the medicinal substances concentration in biological media.</li> <li> Individual pharmacokinetic investigation. </li> <li> Expertise bioequivalence documentation of medicinal preparations. </li> <li> Supervision of bioequivalence studies.</li> <td colspan=2 style='text-align: left; font-size: 11px;font-family: Verdana;'> <tr> <td colspan=2 style='align: justify;font-size: 12px;'> <ul> <li>The Pharmaceutical Evaluation Section with groups for coordination in domain of medicines, national pharmaceutical industry and the good manufacturing practice (GMP) implementation provides to the leadership of Medicines Agency report on its work.
